The goals of Sports Massage include preparing the athlete for competition, decreasing fatigue and the prevention of injuries. Sports Massage is also used to reduce muscle tension and relieve swelling associated with existing injuries. |

Targets specific areas of muscle or “soft tissue” pain called Trigger Points. Trigger Points may be felt as areas of referred sensation characterized by sharp pain, dull ache, tingling and even nausea, ear ache or blurred vision. |
